Mark it down, July 4th, 2007, Tyson began driving. We took a quick drive out to our church parking lot and started with the basics. Clutch, break and shifting work. Tyson took to it naturally, and before I knew it, he was doing clutch and gas simultaneously.
I'd been promising Tyson we'd "go drive" for months. I don't think he actually believed we'd go out. It'd been so long since we started talking about it. He only killed it a few times before he got the nack and quickly became proficient at starts and stops.
