My nephew Rob was recently married in Portland and Mom came to visit us before we went down for the wedding. It was also Mom's birthday, so we had a little party for her. Mom said she hadn't had a birthday party for years and hadn't had a cake for as long as she could remember. So, this was a special time. There were so many candles on the cake the first ones to be lit were almost burned down to the icing by the time the last ones were lit. :)We enjoyed the visit as always and the kids enjoyed having their grandma around for a while.
