Patent Issued: Object Model Document for Obfuscating Persisted Object Model State Therein

Another of my patent applications was granted this month. The title is actually wrong, but what the hay. It's basically a design for manipulating the stored state of the structure, objects, properties, relationships between those objects and attributes in such a way that it makes it difficult to read the document and making it possible to extract the state from the obfuscated document.
The point being to make the contents of the document and hence, the actual stored object model state difficult to read unless you know how to deobfuscate it. The trick is making it possible to extract the stored state automatically.
Anyway, this was originally the idea of Sergei Ivanov, now intrepid Development Manager of the Master Data Services team and we worked on the details of how to do it together. There was a whole lot of collaboration going on during that five years.
What a fun time.
