Sarah’s Girl Scout Poem, September 2009
Daisy, then Brownie, now Juniors comin’ round.
Listen to the Girl Scouts, such a happy sound!
Learning and doing lots of new things,
Feeding little birds with tiny little wings.
Weaving some placemats, planting some seeds,
collecting some groceries to help those in need.
Now that we’re Juniors, we’ll try to have fun.
We are all special, each and every one!
Sarah wrote this to get the Rainbow Badge with some other girls in her troop.
She read it at her GS meeting on September 23rd, 2009.
Thanks to Christine for sending it to me.
