Amanda was in the musical at Liberty high. She did a great job and I enjoyed it immensely. Especially when they all said the name of the musical… Sort of have to be there moment. Anyway, the story is a mystery about… Well, about the disappearance of Drood. It was written by Charles Dickens and was never completed because he died in the middle of writing it. Therefore, nobody really knows what happened to Drood. The play actually lets the audience vote on the fate of Drood and other interesting outcomes. However, I have a personal theory that Dickens never intended to finish the story, but rather knew somehow that he was about to die and started the story with the true intent to create a never solvable mystery. So the mystery isn’t what happened to Drood, the mystery is really how Dickens intended to complete the play! That’s my theory anyway…
Amanda played a puffer’s girl and did just great at acting the part.
