We did our favorite hike yesterday. Lindsey was determined to do it and talked everyone into going in spite of the rain. Jenny was recovering from the flu so she didn’t make it the whole way. Amanda had just given blood and was sick earlier in the week too. So she wasn’t feeling up to snuff either. I, on the other hand, am just getting old. So, Lindsey waited patiently for us as we made our way up the mountain. In spite of the rain, I really enjoyed this hike. We’ll miss you while you’re on your mission Lindsey, but so proud that you’re going.

Toby came along and got extremely, gloriously and totally dog happy dirty. Later he would take a shower. He didn’t enjoy that at all! This is where Jenny turned back. Can you tell she’s not feeling so well? Poor girl.
