Thanksgiving, 2019

Catching up on some blogging here...

I've been meaning to post this for some time. Just finally got around to it.
All the Haselden kids were in SLC for Thanksgiving this year. It was a lot of fun.

We played the "farkle" game from Hell. It's a dice game that seemed to go on forever.
This was before we started. I know that cuz everyone is smiling.
Whitney, John, Jenny, Jordan, Lindsey, Amanda, Sarah

Went to temple square to see the lights and everyone just about froze their tootsies off. It was a tad cold. Notice my hat that Lindsey crocheted for me. It's my fav.

Sarah and Lindsey made apple pie. Oh my gosh, that looks so good. I want some NOW.

We decided to do an art project together. We bought a bunch of old skis from Deseret Industries and took off all the bindings. There's a ski for each of us in the family. 11 for each of the kids and Whit and I. Some of these we did over Thanksgiving. Tyson couldn't make it so we only had 5 done at Thanksgiving. The Reich and Cutler kids did their skis over Christmas. Only Jameson and Ellie's, and Tyson's are left now. We'll mount these on an old pallet I cut down and cleaned up and hang it up in the living room in the Condo. Here's all the skis so far.
Whitney and Kirk, Josh and Taylor, Sarah, Austin, Brandon, Amanda, Jenny, Savanna, Lindsey and Jordan, Daniel, Tyson, Jameson and Ellie. We think it's really cool looking and will go so well on our ski condo wall!

Tyson and the girls built a snowman while we watched. Later we took a picture as though we all helped. It was fun for them to build, it was fun to watch. Later they built another anatomically correct snowwoman almost as big.
We thought they would last the whole winter in some form because they were so big.
Only, days later, the weather warmed up and this was all that was left of Mr. and Mrs. Snowman.
