By now, all 7 of you that read this blog know how I feel about the farcical con that a small group of scientists, businessmen and politicians have been foisting upon the world called global warming. In the past, we’ve heard that anthropogenic (man caused) global warming “may” cause the total destruction of islands, the melting of the polar ice caps, increased hurricane activity, prostitution in developing countries and even earthquakes. The list goes on. I’m not going to monologue on this too much. Just want to say, we could use a little more warming right now. While AGW alarmists are crying that global warming may cause suffering without having any scientific proof, we now have sure proof that global freezing is causing suffering. Looking at the Drudge Report this morning, you’d get the feeling we’re headed for a new ice age. What was interesting however, was to read one of the latest articles talking about how the people in the high Peru mountains were suffering from severe cold weather. It’s terrible what they are suffering through, but, somehow, the melting polar ice caps are to blame, and hence global warming is to blame? So, let me get this right… Men cause global warming because they, their domesticated animals, and their machines create a gas that already exists in the atmosphere and has existed in varying percentages and is absolutely essential for the health of trees and the percentage of this gas spewed by humans is only a tiny fraction of what is naturally occurring in volcanoes, ocean cycles and other natural phenomena, and we can’t even prove what effect humans have had on said gas percentages and that gas is proven to be a minor element in the global climate cycles and glacial melt has been occurring since before the industrial revolution but now that Peruvian villages are suffering from unusually cold weather it’s because we drive cars that are powered by gasoline?
Paaaaaalease! What has happened to critical thinking in the world?
I would encourage anyone who would like to hear the other side of the climate change/global warming hysteria to read this web site. Maybe we could all just get back to the business of living life and worrying about real problems like raising our children, worshiping the real and true God of heaven and earth, being truly good stewards of the earth (not alarmists), improving ourselves and enjoying our lives. You know, the matrix movie series got at least one thing right, humans can’t seem to get along without a crisis of some sort. If there isn’t a full scale world war going on or something of a similar scale, we’ll create equal drama in some other way. People seem to need to be afraid and there’s always somebody out there willing to somehow exploit that fear for gain.
