Today was Sarah's 7th birthday and we celebrated by going to the zoo. It was a fun day. Sarah had been looking forward to it for months. She had reserved the day and the trip to the zoo over a month ago. We went with her friend Cassidy and her Mother. They had to leave early, but seemed to have fun. It was great having the whole family there. Sarah really liked the bird area and the petting zoo where sho could pet the goats and sheep. There was a rabbit there too.
Later, we returned home and had cake and ice cream.
The best part of the day for me was getting everyone together for a picture. Something we haven't done for a long time. The family is getting so big. Our youngest is 7. Lindsey was younger than that when we moved to Washington. Lindsey is a senior this year.
