Occasionally, Mother Nature clears up long enough to get a few good glimses of our favorite mountain. This is the view we have of Mt. Rainier from our kitchen, porch and sideyard.
Later that same day I took this awful pic of the sunset. Sorry, it's terribly out of focus... I'm still getting used to my 85mm, 1.4 lens that has an incredibly narrow depth of field. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it... Anyhow, the colors are spectacular. It's great being able to enjoy sunsets and views from our home. Previously, all we could see was trees. Wasn't bad and I'm not complaining, just enjoy having more view variety at the new house. :)
