James Wayne Haselden
Age 83, passed away on June 17th, 2019 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital. James was the husband of Pamela Haselden; they enjoyed 28 years of marriage.
Born in Pamplico, South Carolina he was the son of Elizabeth and Everett Haselden.
James served 20+ years in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He had an ability to fix anything mechanical or electrical, as well as a talent for creating anything out of wood. James was a man that enjoyed working and spending time with his family; always ensuring that they were taken care of.
Coming a long way in life, James had a presence that commanded attention, which made him a natural leader. He easily earned the respect of those around him, especially since it was no difficult task for him to show his tender heart. He was always making someone laugh, from the stories he would tell, to the jokes he would make. James always had a sense of humor, quick wit and a love for sports. But most importantly his ability to make sure you knew that you were deeply loved.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Haselden as well as his daughters, Rebecca Schoeffler (Eric), Leah Bergmann (Blaise), Kat Chrisman, Samantha Haselden (Cheree), his son Kirk Haselden (Whitney), 23 grandchildren, as well as 32 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his ex-wife Esther Bauman, daughter LuAnn Dove (Mikel), his son David Wayne Haselden (Millie), as well as his grandsons Adam and Brett.
There will be a private celebration of life for the family and close friends as James did not wish to have a funeral or viewing.
